Watch optimal seating of a new aligner within 3 minutes
Aligners function most effectively when they are meticulously seated against your teeth and intimately engaging the attachments which have been designed and placed to ensure your teeth move accurately.
To ensure that your aligner is seating completely against your teeth and engaging the attachments, simply bite on the OSM section of the device, starting with your back teeth and moving completely around your mouth. Chew in a vertical (up and down) motion for 15 seconds on each of your teeth (takes about 3 minutes in total).
Repeat this process 3 times per day (morning, early afternoon and evening is ideal) or when you re-insert your aligners after cleaning or meals.
